Established in 2020, The Bike Sanctuary is a used motorcycle dealership with a brand-new workshop able to service and repair all makes and models of motorcycles. We take pride in offering the best used motorcycles with the very best customer service and competitive pricing. The Bike Sanctuary is located just 1 mile from junction 15 of the M1 near Blisworth Northamptonshire.
Due to our continued expansion, we are now recruiting for a full-time delivery driver and handover specialist. You will be responsible for planning our delivery schedule working closely with sales and workshop to ensure customers receive timely communication and delivery of their new motorcycle.
You will be delivering motorcycles nationwide and will be asked on rare occasions to stay out overnight where drive time dictates (eg North Scotland) though this is not the norm. Whilst your normal working hours will be 08:30-5pm we employ a flexible approach to start and end times to suit the needs of our customers. This gives you the opportunity to start early and finish early to make deliveries timelier and more efficient. You will be trusted to plan your week and ensure customers know when their motorcycles will be arriving.
As well as delivering you will also be collecting bikes purchased by the Bike Sanctuary for sale. You will e expected to plan these collections in line with deliveries to balance bikes in vs bikes out.
To many customers you will be the face of The Bike Sanctuary and so we are looking for someone who takes pride in the business and their work.
You will receive a work laptop, phone and credit card. Overnight stays are fully paid by the company.
You will be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of our vans, which includes booking servicing, maintaining AdBlue, washer fluids, daily checks.
The Ideal Candidate:
The Bike Sanctuary is a motorcycle business and therefore you should be passionate about motorcycles and hold a full UK licence. You may have similar experience working for another company though this is not vital as training will be given.
You will be handling bikes of all sizes, which requires a degree of physical handling and so you should only apply if you are comfortable moving motorcycles – again training will be given.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and prepared to set off early when required, in return we are flexile with finish times when required.
You must have a full UK drivers’ licence and be eligible to work in the UK.
